For foreigners forming a company or moving to Bulgaria
Move your one-person business to Bulgaria. Pay 10%.
Bulgaria has a 10% flat tax, the euro since 2026, and Schengen since 2025. We publish the honest version: what the numbers really are, what banks really ask for, and who this does not work for.
- 10% corporate and personal tax
- Euro and Schengen member
- Sourced numbers, dated pages

The fine print
The parts other sites leave out
The honest version converts better than the sales pitch, and it is the only version we publish.
- Banks often want you in person
- Opening the capital account for a new company usually needs a visit. Fintechs handle operations, but not the capital deposit. We say so on every banking page.
- You have to actually move
- A company in Bulgaria does not let you keep living elsewhere and pay 10%. Where you live and where the company is managed decide your tax, not where it is registered.
- Dormant companies still file
- Even a company that trades nothing files annually and publishes accounts. Miss it and the fines start around EUR 100 and climb. Accounting is not optional.
